Under the auspices of the 25th Anniversary Celebrations of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana, the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) is pleased to announce a 3-Day Annual Research Meeting 2025 (ARM 2025) from the 25th to the 27th of November 2025. The theme of ARM 2025 is “Advancing Healthcare Through Impactful Research and Innovation”.
The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for consideration for presentation at ARM 2025.
Submitted abstracts will be considered for oral presentations – as talks of 10 – 15 mins integrated into the symposia sessions or for poster presentations. A selection of posters will also be given the opportunity to give speed talks of 2 mins each in special Turbo Talk Sessions.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the ARM 2025 Book of Abstracts and as Meeting Proceedings after the Research Meeting.

- Abstracts should contain original data not published at the time of the abstract submission deadline.
- All abstracts must be submitted online via the dedicated system that will be available from 10th June 2025 to 15th July 2025. Abstracts submitted by email or any alternative method will not be considered.
- The presenting author is responsible for the abstract content. S/he must be the contact person for submission and communication purposes and is also responsible for disseminating information related to the session to co-authors.
- The presenting author, by submitting their abstract, agrees to make themselves available during the annual meeting for the presentation, question and answer sessions or the poster tour.
Abstract Text:
- The abstract should be in English, and no more than 300 words. Please note that abstracts with more than 300 words will be automatically rejected by the portal and submission will not be complete
- Titles should be no more than 20 words. Titles should be in sentence cases and not capital letters
- Abstract should be in one paragraph and should contain background, methods, results, and conclusion, without providing these headings in the text. Abstracts should also not have references
- The use of scientific names should follow the appropriate nomenclature and italicised as appropriate, in the title and abstract
- Also, provide up to five keywords
- Abbreviations and acronyms must be written out in full at the first mention in the text
- Authors are responsible for proofreading and submitting abstracts without errors
- All submitted abstracts will be sent for peer review by a panel of experts who will determine appropriateness for the meeting. Authors who may have requested oral or poster presentations may be requested to change their preference
- Authors will be informed of the outcome of their submissions by 7th September 2025
